Can I back up Office?

I recently purchased Office via download, and now (unrelated to Office)
my XP Home installation is behaving very erratically. Can I back up
Office and reinstall it after doing a complete system restore, or will
I need to buy a new copy? Thanks for any advice/insights.

Since Office is not available via download, did you perhaps purchase a bogus
copy, which might impact your O/S?

I'm sure there's some way to do it but you would have been better off buying
it thru Amazon.com. It would have been cheaper plus you'd have the CDs in
your hands.

Check any emails sent to you when you paid for the full version. I would
imagine one of them would tell you how to create a back-up disk.

Then you should have received a confirmation telling you that install disks
were coming via snail mail.

After furious head scratching, [email protected] asked:

| I downloaded it from www.microsoft.com/office/trial as a 60-day free
| trial and then activated it when the 60-day period ended.

Yes, the disks are en route. But since I activated only two days ago,
I was hoping I could do a backup/system recovery/Office reinstall
before the disks arrive.

Sorry if my earlier post went to your personal account; it was
accidental. Hopefully it won't happen with this one.
