Can I block and email address, and have a note sent back to them .

I understand how to block an address, but would like to do two things: first
not even see the email from that address, have it automatically deleted.
Second I would like the sender to get a reply that says their email has been
block by the receiver. Is this possible in Outlook? I am using both 2000
and 2003. THANKS!

Rules can act only on mail that has already been pulled into Outlook. You
could set up an autoreply, but I don't know if that will work in addition to
"move message to deleted items" or "permanently delete" (paraphrasing) -
check your rules options.

That said, why bother with the autoreply? Why not just delete all mail from
this sender automatically & be done with it?
