Yes. View column parameters are defined by the view table found under
View/Table/More Tables. For example the default view table for the Gantt
Chart view is the Entry table. Edit the view table as desired. Any
customized views, (standard or user developed), are saved with the file.
If you want to make those customized changes applicable to all files,
including the default Project 1 file that you see when you open Project,
use the Organizer, (Tools/Organizer), to copy your customized views,
tables, filters, etc. from your file to your Global.
