Can I change the sort criteria in resources?

Forgive my ignorance, I'm a newbie at MSP.

In the resource section, I have added/renamed some text columns with
pertinent info regarding my resources. I would like to sort by one of the
columns I created but it's not one of the options. Is there anyway I can add
this text column as one of my sort criteria?

Hi Leslie,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

The simplest way is to click the Autofilter button immediately to the right of the All Resources button on the formatting toolbar. The same button can be found at Project/Filtered for: ()/Autofilter. This will put little arrows in the column headings. Click on that and select your filter criteria.

Hi,

In the Project menu, Sort submenu, click Sort By...
There you can select any field as a sort criterion.
