Can I Change The Week Start Without Something Going Boom?

We are currently using PWA 2003 and Project Pro 2003 with the workweek
starting on Sunday.

Tools => Options => Calendar => Week starts on: set to Sunday in
Project 2003 Professional

And

Admin => Customize Project Web Access => Time period settings => Week
starts on: set to Sunday in PWA.

We have had a request from users to change the start of the week in PWA
to Monday to align with our Accounting Time & Attendance system.

I have read through all of the information at my disposal and there
does not appear to be any reason that the two settings (PWA and Pro)
need to be the same. Nor is there any warning on the Newsgroup about
potential consequences of doing this.

My question is, what things do I need to watch for before I make this
change?
As in...are there any other settings that need to be made as well?

It seems way too easy to change without something getting screwed up in
the process.

Any foresight would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I believe you can safely make the changes without anything going boom. The
Week Starts On value in Microsoft Project primarily controls the display of
date information in task views such as the Gantt Chart and Task Usage, and
in resource views such as Resource Usage. The Week Starts On value in PWA
controls how the system displays the date range in timesheet grid on the
View My Tasks page. It would make sense to make sure these values are set
the same in both applications. Hope this helps.
