Can I convert MS Word back to MS Office Document Imaging

I scanned a document and converted it to MS Word to make some spelling
corrections, font resizing and added some additional wording. Can I convert
this MS Word document back into the original MS Office Document Image with
the corrections and additional wording? I am using Office 2003

You can't convert a Microsoft Word document back to a Microsoft Office
Document Imaging File, that is if you are talking about the same original
file. Microsoft Office Document Imaging uses Optical Character Recognition to
recognize the text on the document that you've scanned.

What you can do?

Actually Microsoft Office comes with a Microsoft Office Document Image
Writer. It is just like the printer only that instead of giving you a hard
copy of the document, it "prints" it unto a *.MDI or *.TIFF file. Just go to
File > Print and select Microsoft Office Document Image Writer as the printer.

Hope this one helps!
