can I convert Windows Publisher files to Word files

I have some old MS Publisher files that I would like to get onto Office 2k
Word.

Publisher files are incompatible with Word. The best you are likely to
achieve is to save the publication from Publisher in jpg or png format and
import as a graphic.

I also have pretty good results copying an entire page in Publisher and
using Paste Special as Picture.
