Can I create a drop-down list in visio and save as a webpage?

I have created a Visio diagram that I have saved as a webpage for my
organizations internal use. I have put hyperlinks in this diagram that lead
to other html reports created outside of Visio. I want to update the reports
periodically, and would like to create a drop down list within Visio where
the users could access previous reports. Could someone please tell me if
this is possible, and if so, how?

This is far less important, but as a second request, if anyone has any
information on how to use target="_blank" attribute in Visio web page I would
appreciate that as well. I would like the reports to appear in a seperate
tab/or window... Thank you

Hello Dent,

Visio's Save As Web addon can certainly handle multiple links and these
appear as a clickable tooltip as you hover over the shape they're applied
to. Have a look at this post by David Parker on adding links via a separate
spreadsheet:

You might also find this link helpful:

Regarding target="_blank", this is just an instruction to open the link in a
new window and there's a ShapeSheet cell called NewWindow in the Hyperlinks
section that is set to False by default. Just change this to True and this
will get translated to "_blank" in the Save As Web process. If you've not
come across the ShapeSheet before, you might want to have a read through
this:

Hope that helps.

Best regards

John
