Can I create "script with a tail" with Publisher

I am trying to create a baseball logo using "script with a tail". You can see
examples of this with the Los Angles Dodgers or Baltimore Orioles logos. Can
I accomplish this with MS Publisher?

If I were doing a project like that, I'd use a graphics program such as
Photoshop Elements. (Yes, I'm biased because I own that program and really
like its capabilities.)

If I were looking to create a logo, there's no way in hell I'd use a raster
drawing program like Photoshop or PSE to do it. I would use a vector app
like CorelDraw! or Microsoft Expression. This will give much more
satisfactory results, with a logo you can scale to the size of a bus with
ZERO pixellation. Whereas if you create the graphic too small in Phosothop,
you either have to pixellate or recreate.

Good point. And since Expressions is a free download (at least *was* free),
you can't argue the price. :)
