Don't know. That's not a usual location for Office program files.

The consequences of deleting a folder would depend on what it actually
contained. Who created it and what is in it?

Not sure if that was the location you chose to install Office2003! i'm not
sure what the folder is all about.
why don't you create a backup of this folder and delete it and see if
everything works fine? there might be a risk, but i'll leave that to you.
