Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC Email Client: pop I have 4 backups of my database. Can I delete the old backup files?
I don't mind keeping them but they are starting to take up a lot of space - each backup is over 1GB in size.

Thanks!

Yes, After a rebuild, when you are satisfied that your data is good, you can
delete the old backups.

Is there a specific way to do this or should I just moved the folder to the trash?

If you use the Switch Identity window under Entourage in the Menu bar, it
gets any Spotlight cache files that have been created, but usually a rebuild
Identity has never been opened for Spotlight to create these files. Deleting
in the Finder deleted the Identity, but not any cache files.

Path to cache files:

"YOUR USER FOLDER/Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage"
