Can I delete the trial Office software after I have upgraded it?

I have the trial software for office 2003 on my computer (it came when I
bought my computer). I have upgraded to Professional Edition 2003 and I want
to know if I can delete trial software without affecting how my new
Professional Edition software runs?

if you have a separate entry for the Trial version in Control Panel /
Add-Remove Programs, remove it and run a repair on the Professional edition.

I am assuming you purchased the full version of Office Pro because you can't
upgrade a trial version.

And yes, you should uninstall it. If you don't, you may find your computer
insists on using the product key for the trial version and not the full
version.

Hi Jena,

If you have the CD for Office 2003 Professional Edition then you should be able to remove the trial edition through Add/Remove
Programs in the Windows control panel, although you may need to then (after restarting the PC) run a repair/reinstall on the
Professional edition.
