I have a HP presario 3000 with XP Home. I am using an ACT database. I just
set up a VoIP connection. Can I dial out of an ACT database on a VoIP line?
If so how? How do I set up my dialer to go out over the VoIP?

Hi - doesn't sound like you're trying do something in Outlook, so this isn't
the best group for your question. Try an XP group or ACT support.

Like Lanwench said, this really doesn't sound like an outlook problem - but
in order to do it in any program, including outlook, that supports dialing,
you need to have a voice modem installed - for voip, this could be just
software that allows the computer to use the IP connection. Once installed,
it should be selectable in the modem properties of the dialer used by the
program. I don't have voip, so you're on your own finding out if voip offers
a modem feature for use with pcs.
