Can I do building elevations in Visio or just floor plans?

I have done a floor plan, but cannot figure out how to do an elevation for a
new building I am designing. Can you do side elevations in Visio?

So you have also fallen in the trap.
No you cannot,
you could mimic with isometric, but that is not simple.

Use Sketchup.

Actually, you can do side elevations, but you will need to create a few
shapes.

My recommendation would be to look at some of the home architecture software
that is available for a little over $100. They allow you to do 3D modelling
snd create walkthroughs. I liked the one by Broderbund, but I do not know if
it is still available.
