Can i do my contacts to appear firstly in a compose mail?

B

Bill

Hi to all

I am using Office XP application.
When i am opening a new mail to compose, i am gointo to
the To: in order to see the contacts. Because i am
working in a network the first list i am seeing is the
global list.
There is anyway to make it to open my Contact list first?

Thanks in advance
Bill

Bill,

go in your Outlook menu under tools/addressbook/tools/options and select
here in the drop down box: "show this addresslist at first".

Oliver:
This was great!! I have been looking into how to do that for a
while but did not get around to send a note on it.

I was wondering if I could add to this? and ask how to get the
names to show in last name first format instead of first name
first? All of mine are first name first, but in OL2003 I have them
in order by "File As" and the Full Name is <First>Last>. Then I
do the "File As" one of the options inverts it to <Last>,<First>

Wondering if I need to start loading my Contact differently so
I can search the list easier.

Any suggestions?

Please advise, and thanks. -Randy-

Thank you for this answer. :))

For Outlook 2003
I was wondering if I could add to this? and ask how to get the
