Can I easily create an Outlook distribution list from excel?

I'd like to easily create a distribution list for Outlook by exporting an
email data column from an excel spreadsheet (without having to cut and paste
each individual entry).

There's a procedure for doing this at <a
href="http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA010964231033.aspx?pid=CL100626971033">Microsoft
Office Online</a>. To find this, I typed "Import contacts from Excel" into
the "Type a question for Help" box in Outlook.
