Can I email a few of the contacts within a distribution list in Outlook 2002?
I guess I am trying to avoid re-inputting the names separately in individual
contact sheets and hope I can select them from the distribution list.

Thanks,

Hi Eddie,

You should create a new email message and place the distribution list in the TO: line. Next, expand the list to individual names and delete the ones you don't want to include.

Thanks for the info, but when i tried that i got "do you want to permanently
delete the contacts?" Does that apply to the instant task of deleting the
names from the list in the To: line or the main distribution list?

I didn't want to answer or go thru with it in case it deleted all the names
I de-selected or deleted from the individual list.....

Wasn't DL expansion added in Outlook 2003?

That's my point. You can't do what Scott suggested.
