Can I embed a bullet it in a Word.doc?

I have a tif file I use as a bullet. When I send it to others they display
their default bullet and not the bespoke one.

Can I embed my tif so that they see what I want them to see?

If you are using the "Picture bullet" feature, you need to be sure that you
are not applying it directly from Format | Bullets and Numbering but rather
using a style that you have defined and firmly linked to a list template.
