Can I enter a specific dimension instead of dragging to dimension?

Often I will have a shape that I have drawn in Visio, but I want a
length to be a specific dimension after I have created the shape. For
example, a line might be 1.56 inches and I want to define it to be
1.50. Rather than drag it to that dimension (which always seems
tedious), can I somehow enter the dimension of the line or other
dimension directly? It seems that I did this in Visio before.

The easy way is to open the size/position window (under the view menu). For
those that want to learn more about how visio works under the covers you can
check out the shapesheet.

I thank you VERY much. It seems like a small question, but even after
you pointed the way to do it, I tried to look it up and could not find
a reference to it, even when using the words size and position. I
know I found it at one time, but just could not this time. If you are
using Visio for a CAD application, this is a very useful capability.
Thanks again.
