Can I get info from another database

Hello, I have an existing database the we use and I wanted to create an
additional database that would pull some information from the other database.
Is this possible? and if so how would I go about doing it...

Thanks,
Chad

The answer may depend on what kind of database is involved, but in Access
2003 or earlier try, from the File menu, selecting 'Get external data' and
then 'Link tables'. If you're using Access 2007, select the External Data
tab in the ribbon and then select the appropriate option from the Import
section on the External Data tab.

You can link the tables from the other database. To do this, click File - Get External Data - Link Tables and follow the
prompts. ONce you've linked the tables you can work with them as you would local tables.
