Can I get rid of underlining in phone font?

When I open up a contact, all of the phone numbers are in an
underlined font. Can I get rid of the underlining somehow?

I tried Tools / Forms / Design this form and then changing the font to
not underlined, but that appears to have created a custom form for
just that one contact. So, now I also need to find out how to get rid
of that custom form and replace it with one that applies to all
contacts.
