Not a lot of information to go on here but a brief recap of some of the EULA
data:
If you have two complete licenses for any Office Product you can give one
away to someone else assuming your gift is not an OEM version that has
previously been installed on a computer.
Home and Student can only be installed on up to 3 computers in the SAME
household so you COULD NOT give one installation to a friend and install the
other two installations on your computers in your household.
Office retail can be installed on two different computers that are generally
used by the same person (normally called a desktop and laptop.)
OEM versions can normally only be installed onto one computer and the
license's life is tied to that computer of the first install.
