Can I have more than 6 flags of different colors?

i have the 6 available flag colors w/ text, but need more different color
flags to organize my mailbox. I also know how to change a flag's color, but
that only changes the appearance, when I go to follow up they are grouped by
the original color. For instance, I have red flags for follow up and want to
change the appearance of the red flag to pink for our travel agent. I add
the pink flag, but in the follow up folder, it is still grouped with the red
flags.

any suggestions?
