Hasn't Xerox done okay anyway?

I got into fonts when I tried learning Pagemaker- because I thought this
is what people were supposed to use for this stuff.

Publisher is so much easier and in my limited experience does what I want
to do just as well. I probably will never get a job in an office that
requires me to use Pagemaker instead.

visual integrity

There are tools out there which either can convert a PDF file into
WMF (which is the standard vector format of Windows) or to a bitmap
format like JPEG. Using WMF/EMF you can make changes to the contents
in publisher on object level (=lines, circles, text objects). You could loose
some WYSIWYG quality. If you go the bitmap route you are not able
to edit the contents anymore in Publisher. But it ensures you in most
cases 100% WYSIWYG. But the quality is depending on eg resolution,
anti-aliasing etc.

Please mail me offline and I can send you more information about
how to create a WMF/EMF or image file from a PDF-file and how to import it
into Publisher.

JoAnn...check out Adobe 8 Pro. I downloaded the trial last week (not
crippled, but there is a nag)...it's really amazing compared to what I'd
been using (4).

Dreamweaver + a coupla other goodies for 399.

I emailed my region director and assistant director when I saw the Acrobat 8
will allow others to fill out forms and save them. I got an email back
within minutes from the AD and she wants to get it. We like the idea of
fewer paper forms.

The printer that was printing my booklet last week was pretty amazed at what
last minute changes he was able to do that he normally would not have been
if I had created it in an older version.

Waiting for wifey to come home with her student ID badge :) so I can apply
for the ste.
