can I increase the printing size of handouts?

I would like to increase the printing size of handouts so that when I print 6
pages to a page (handout style) it actually fills the page rather than
leaving big gaps between the slides. Any ideas welcome!

PPT doesn't let you resize these thumbnails. Here are some alternatives.

In PPT, use File|Send to Word
