Can I Install Office 2000 on XP Machine?

Still need an answer. Like many users I am sure, I
already have Office 2000. Can I install this on new XP PC
or do I have to upgrade to Office XP? Want to do install
on new PC running XP that did not come with Office
preinstalled.
