Can I install Office 2003 Stud/Teach on more than one computer?

I purchased a laptop recently. It came with Office 2003 for Students and
Teachers pre-installed. Yesterday, I checked to see how much it would cost to
buy an activation key. I read the licensing info. It says that this edition
of Office can be installed on up to three computers. This is new. I purchased
this edition of Office two years ago. At that time, you could only install it
on one computer at a time.

Since they have changed their licensing restrictions, would it be possible
to install my Office program on my new computer? Or am I bound by the old
licensing requirements?

If the EULA says that you can install it on 3 computers, and S & T 2003 does
allow up to 3 computers in a household, you may certainly install it to
those three computers.

The only problem you may have is that it may require telephone activation
but probably not. Currently have 2 licenses installed on 5 computers.

Whatever the license says for that specific version of Office is what goes.
If rules are changed for newer versions, they do not also apply to older
versions.
