Can I link date cell in excel to Outlook Express calendar?

I have an excel spreadsheet that has renewal dates for clothing issues for
our drivers. Can I link the date cells in my spreadsheet to my calendar in
Outlook Express to automatically remind me when they are due, without having
to manually enter the dates as reminders?
