PowerPoint has no "Make-Puzzle"-button. But with a bit of effort it is
possible. In short: You need puzzle bits which are drawn as AutoShapes,
you cut your puzzle into rectangles of the same size and fill the pieces
with the small images.

I have a detailed tutorial, but it's in German. Any chance you can read
that?

Best regards,

This would be a long explanation but here are some pointers

1 You can use the puzzle pieces in Draw > autoshapes > more autoshapes
2 Ungroup them to get four pieces
3 Set the background as your picture
You might want to mask the background with a plain coloured rectangle behind
the puzzle pieces
5 Set the fill on the pieces to background (from format autoshape)
6 Use motion paths to assemble

Have a good time!!

Glen Millar taught me this:

In PPT 2002/2003:

First you need to insert your desired image into your background:

Format > Background, in drop down menu select Fill Effects
Click on the Picture tab. Click on the Select Picture button. Browse to find
your image. Click Insert. Click Apply. Image will now fill your background.

Now, on the slide in which you've inserted the background, cover this
background image by drawing a rectangle over the entire image using color of
choice (or image from your master)

To insert the puzzle image: Click your Auto Shapes button. Select More Auto
Shapes. In your task pane on the right of your screen browse to find the
puzzle. Double click. Resize as needed. If you need to duplicated the pieces
in order to have more, make sure you group them.

Now right click on the group. Select Format Auto Shape. Under Fill > Color
select Background. Click OK.

Ungroup you puzzle pieces. TA DA!
