Can I make my slides in PhotoShop

I want to make my slides, entirely in PhotoShop and then bring them into
PowerPoint to play the slide show. What do I need to save the files as for
this to work?

You can save your files as jpg images, then from within PowerPoint, Insert
Picture from file, and insert your images

I would make them at least 1024 X 768 pixels and use File > Save for Web. I
prefer PNG as the file type, but if file size is a major concern, use JPG. In
PowerPoint I would then use the blank template and for each slide I would go to
Format > Background > Fill Effects > Picture and use one picture per slide.

Do as Michael and Sonia have suggested. Make sure you are working in RGB (no
problem if saving as .png). Check here for a good explanation of how your
photoshop and PPT interact.

There is a great plug-in for Photoshop that do exactly what you are
asking for- export to Powerpoint slide from Photoshop.

Take a look at
http:/arsmedia.tv/pp/ppproducts.htm

There is a fully functional demo - one month trial period.
