You can't hide them.

He may be asking because he's seen URLs that don't seem to specify a file
name. This is done with a page in the directory having the default home page
file name. Depending upon the server, it may be default.htm, index, htm,
default.html, index.html, or several others. To find out, look at the home
page file name on the server in the root folder, which FrontPage names by
looking up the default home page file name. Note: There can only be one in
any directory.

I get a different impression. He wants to hide everything but the domain
URL and only wants www.000.com to appear, without the directory and page.

Using frames would accomplish this.

But it is still possible to see the URL in the address bar, as well as opening the page outside of
the frameset, which would then show the URL, as well as doing a view source.

Gentlemen, I have a funny feeling that we're simply talking amongst
ourselves now, that the OP has since wandered off. Interesting discussion,
though.
