Can I put Project 2002 server on an Exchange 2000 server?

I have Exchange 2000 running on a Dell PowerEdge 2650, with a single
2.6ghz Pentium Xeon in it. We have fifty users, or will; we're still
getting everything configured and tested before rolling it out to the
users.

We also just got Project 2002 Server (as it was half the price of
2003), and are contemplating installing it on the same machine.

Good idea, or bad idea?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would add another processor and make sure there is a huge amount of
RAM (several gig). Then have one processor serving Exchange and the
other serving Project Server. Then install a second NIC and have it
serve Project Server and let the existing NIC server Exchange.

Then if you are also installing SQL I would add an third NIC.

That said I would not personally want to have all this on one box. I
would get another machine and have that machine do all this but the
single box CAN work. The NIC tends to be the choke point particularly
if SQL is on the same machine.

I would be a little more stronger than Brian and say NO
WAY! I tried running both on the same server for a
training class and took it down and out wiht just 8
users. I would say to definitely get another server.
