No details usually results in a less than accurate
solution. Posting a description of the problem/s
including all errors would be more productive.

Have you tried; Detect & Repair?...have your install CD handy. It's under Help.

Probably get a better answer if you describe the corruptness symptom...maybe someone can help ya.

Do you run a current anti-virus program? What about spyware? Who else uses
your system?

Now I know something is corrupt on my computer ... it's never been a day
ahead! Some of the symtoms when working on a document in Pub 2003 is the
entire document all of a sudden turns into small squares .. Yes I lose
every
design element and it just shows small squares covering the entire
document.
Another strange thing .... I've had Pub 2000 on this machine for years and
all of a sudden it now asks me if I would like to register it. Huh ...
it's
been registered years ago!

Outside of checking out your Windows installation, I would also recommed
that you go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and uninstall
both versions of Publisher. Then, install Publisher 2000 first then
Publisher 2003 making sure they are resinstalled into different directories.

Something surely sounds hosed on your system. It could be a virus as well :(

I think I solved it ..... I ran the detect and repair under the help menu in
Pub and it found a missing (gap.something) file and replaced it.

Does Window's XP have any thing like this to solve similar missing files ???

If you put in your Windows XP CD, then shut your computer down. Then turn it
back on, you should be prompted right away at boot up to "boot from CD-rom"
press enter. If you press enter, you will be given the option to setup
Windows. During Windows setup, one of the options says to "repair".

Unless you know a little about computers, I would caution doing this.

Without giving details, I'm pretty sure that my MS PUB 2003 or 2000 ... both
installed on the same machine is corrupt. It could be Windows XP that has
gone corrupt .. but it's only when using Pub.

How can I install Pub ... just insert the disk and go over top of the
exisisting Pub? What about Windows .. if that is what is corrupt?

Thanks
