Can I re-install ?

C

Carole UK

I'm considering buying a whole new set of kit as my laptop keeps crashing.

I bought a copy of the full Office 2003 suite a couple of years ago (boxed
set, not download) for my laptop (expensive !). Will I be able to install
this on new kit, or is it unique to each machine, like the operating system,
and I'll have to buy another copy ?

Did you get your copy of Office with your other computer or purchase it at a
software retailer?

Many thanks for fast reponse.
Just out of interest why does it appear that the rules are different if you
buy it separately from when you actually bought the kit ?
Is it just related to how much I paid ? (ie more than if I got it bundled
with the kit)
