can I recover a spreadsheet I didn't save?

please help me

I was working late and shut down my computer before saving anything- I think
I got a warning box and without thinking clicked close anyways or something.
I was hoping it would magically appear when I opened Excel this morning but
it's gone. Am I out of luck?

The computer does exactly as commanded. You commanded it _not_ to save your
changes. If you had the "Auto-save" feature enabled, you may be able to
recover some of your work.

You've mistakenly posted your question in the Microsoft Access (the database
application that's part of MS Office Professional) newsgroup. Please post
your question in a more appropriate newsgroup.
