A new install prob. won't solve the issues.
What problems are you having with Outlook?

Wouldn't it have been better to get rid of the beta software and keep the
released version?

Sure you had compatibility problems. There can always only be one
version of Outlook on a computer. What problems do you have with Outlook
2007?

Run Office Diagnostics (Help menu in Outlook). If that doesn't help,
repair the Office 2007 installation via Control Panel, Add/Remove
Programs.
If that doesn't help, you can try removing Office 2007, rebooting and
reinstalling.
As a side note, if you have Office 2003 and 2007 installed on the same
computer, you cannot change Office 2003 while 2007 is installed. So if
you want to remove or add a 2003 program, you first need to remove 2007,
make your change to 2003 and then reinstall 2007.

What a coincidence! I had the same problem today. I installed Beta2 and have
been using it with almost no trouble. Then, today, Business Contact Manager
was missing a template or something (I should have paid more
attention...sorry...I think one of the templates was pdfm.....).

Diagnostics launched on its own. I ran it, and it said there was a problem
having both 2003 and 2007 on my machine. I took a risk, uninstalled 2003, and
had pretty much the same problem you describe. Then I ran Office setup again,
chose "Repair," and things are right as rain.

I probably shouldn't have done it, but there it is. Try running repair.

I wonder what problems I'll run if I can upgrade to a new Beta (3? more...?)
or the final version when it's released.

Good luck!
