I used detect and repair to correct a problem with Outlook. It asked me if i
wanted to reinstall MS Office 2003, I said yes. My outlook though has
copied over my previous 2003 Outlook and as a result, all my mail is gone.
Can I restore the Outlook I had so I can get all my mail back?

If your PST still exists, yes. Search your hard drive for "*.pst", enabling
searching hidden files and folders. If you find one, open it in Outlook
with File>Open>Outlook Data File. It should be all your old data. Make the
PST your default delivery location with Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next, the
drop-down at the lower left.
