Hi Charles,
Unless you have the option in Word set to always make a backup when saving using Tools=>Options=>Save then generally if you replace
a file with one of the same name then the original content has been over written with the new.
==========
Accidentally save a 2007 over a 2005 file.
Can I retrieve it??????????
Versions...does not give me an option.
The only choice I may have is to restore...I don't want that.
Can you respond directly as I found this site by accident. >>
