Can I save from Word 2007 to pdf in "rich black" for printing

My printer wants press quality pdfs with all text and graphics in rich black.
However, so far I have not found a way to do this from Word 2007. All I get
is a 0 0 0 black. Even graphics saved in .eps format in rich black from Adobe
Illustrator then imported into Word fail to retain the rich black setting
when printed from Word to pdf.

MS products have never and probably *will* never handle EPS correctly.
I'd hang the "Abandon Hope, Ye Who Enter Here" sign above that particular
hallway and maybe brick it up.

Most MS apps are RGB-only, but you need to be able to specify CMYK colors to
create a rich black. Publisher allows you to spec colors in CMYK; it might be a
better choice than Word.
