Can I save PPT slide photos as JPG files?

I'm rebuilding the Web site of my church. I've located some useful
photos on the hard drive. However, they are in a PPT presentation. Is
there any way I can copy individual photos to a program that can save
them as JPG files? (I'm thinking of using MS Paint.)

Yes, you can do this. You can also publish your PowerPoint presentation to a
web page, and PowerPoint will extract all your images, put them into a
folder and name them "slide0001_image002.jpg" etc. Just a matter of renaming
them to your liking

Click File > Save As.
Under Save as type, select Web Page.
You can then look into the output folder for all the pictures.

If you are using PowerPoint XP/2002, you can also right click on the
pictures, then select Save as Picture.
