Can I send url links - Outlook 2003?

Security feature, I guess! Is there no way to send url links in O2003 to
users on the same Exchange Server? Thanks!

Yes you can but your administrator needs to allow this by using Group Policy
or by using the security template for Exchange. Eassier is just to
copy/paste the addressbar of Internet Explorer into your e-mail.

Because secure versions of Outlook block shortcut files, I recommend that you use a little free add-in for Internet Explorer when you want to send someone a link to a page. You can get MailTo_URL from http://www.slipstick.com/addins/gallery/index.htm#mailto. It adds an "Email Page" command to the right-click menu in IE and uses the title of the page for the subject of the mail message.

Make sure that the registry entry you create to tell IE where to find the application matches the location where you save the program.

links to files will need to be constructed by users unless your admin allows
urls as trusted file types. See
