Can I share Project files with multiple users using NT Server?

We have a single copy of Project Standard 2003. I would like to setup a
simple Task Manager system among 4 inter-office users - where each user can
update the same project/file. This is just a simple tracking system - no
need for charts and reports. Can I do this with NT Server somehow without
having to use the online Project Server?
