Can i store Chinese names in Contact?

i used to be able to store Chinese names in Contacts. Then my system
crashed, and i reinstalled software, then i restored my old Exchange
files,...etc.

Then i found out i couldn't store Chinese characters in Contact. What went
wrong? Any idea?
