Can I toggle the 2 ways to read NEWSGROUPS?

Can I toggle between these methods to read newsgroups? It looks like you
can access newsreader and read newsgroups like this two different ways...

WEBSITE METHOD. Use IE6 to go to a website like
www.microsoft.com.....newsgroups), or

NEWSREADER METHOD. Within IE6, click Tools>Mail&News>ReadNews to get to
Outlook Newsreader and look at the ones you've subscribed to.

Question is... once in Outlook Newsreader, is there a way to easily go back
to the Web (IE6) version of the newsgroup. Or toggle back and forth--i.e.
read it at the website or through newsreader... One reason is... if I need
to search a way-back newgroup item, Outlook Newsreader isn't as helpful
because I have to go through downloading lots of headers first, and have no
way of knowing if I've got all of them.

Either way, would like to be able to toggle between the two methods--website
and newsreader. Or find a fast workaround.

Thanks,

George

Or just launch Outlook Express on your computer separately.

Not sure what you mean by "toggle", because they're completely unrelated
methods - it's like saying, I want to toggle back and forth between emailing
someone and phoning them. :)

However, you can have the web browser and the news client open at the same
time on your computer, accessing whatever you like. I never use browser
interfaces for news unless I am searching for something I probably never
downloaded into my client - I use OE for news, and for MS newsgroups, the
NNTP server msnews.microsoft.com - and it works fine.
