Can I transfer Word address labels into an Excel database?

Is it possible to create and Excel or Access database by transferring address
labels from a Word document? If so, how?

Yes, but I need the fields to paste horizontally across the page instead of
vertically.

Are they really fields or just typed in text. If Fields, you should be
able to Import, if just a bunch of text, you will have to do some work
to get it into fields form.
