Can I un-save or restore an excel file to a previous version?

It looks like someone saved changes to a file when they shouldn't have and
now I need the old info that the file contained. Any way to go back in time
and recover that old information/ file??

The only method left would be sending the drive to a data recovery
expert, and they may be able to do a forensics recovery on the residual
magnetic traces from the previous data. Read VERY expensive, and of
course you send them the drive, with no guaranty of the file being
recovered.

Ok, thanks for the info... I had a feeling it would be prohibitive, but I had
to ask just in case there was a trick I didn't know about.
