can I upgrade from Office XP UK to Office 2003 US?

I have Office XP Professional fromt eh UKand want to know if I can upgrade to
Office 2003 US or do I have to buy the ful version?

After Office 97 the English language editions for MS Office stopped being different for the U.S. and the U.K.
