I do not think Gyorgy is correct. From the retail version's terms at

I see the following clause right on page 1:

a. Licensed Device. You may install and use one copy of the software on the
licensed device.
b. Portable Device. You may install another copy on a portable device for
use by the single primary user of the licensed device.

Gyorgy's answer *is* correct. Two laptops and two desktops means a minimum
of two copies of the software. HSE is limited to 3 systems. Other versions
have a max of 2 - used by the same person. That could mean the OP might even
need up to 4 copies of the software, depending on its use.
