No you can not use sort with subtotals in place. You would need to remove the
subtotals, sort and then replace the subtotals. The re-sorting may mess up
your ability to subtotal though. Have you considered a pivot table. it give
you the same ability to subtotal and allows for a bunch of options including
sorting the data after the fact.
