Can I use the Office S.M.S. wizard to go from Office2003 to Office

Hello.

I'm moving a user from a PC that has Office 2003 onto a PC that is running
Office XP. When I try to restore the I keep getting an error message saying
that the OPS file can not be read on the target PC.

I would like to know if the save my Office settings wizard can do this? Is
it backward compatable?

Hi Wiggy,

The Save My Settings Files are primarily forward looking and restorative within the same version. What setttings are you trying to
transfer?

Hi Bob,

Thank you for replying.

I'm primarily trying to move the users Outlook '.pst' and 'archive.pst'
files to the other computer.

I've got to the stage where I can't see the wood for the trees!
(V.frustrating. . .)

When I try to use the copied Outlook 2003 .pst file in Outlook XP, I get a
message back saying that the file is not compatable. . .

Do you know how to fix this??? Can the Save my settings wizard do the job???

Thanks
